About The Author

Esma Ali was born in India. As a child, she struggled with differences between her heritage and the USA culture. Labeled as “different,” she struggled to fit in with her peers. She hesitated to say anything that could break the little connections she made between the two worlds. However, the moment comes when the heart expresses itself. Her purpose is not to create more disparity, but to hold on to those deep truths that unite us.

Esma holds a degree in Mathematics from Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA. She appreciates the Liberal Arts, which break down the limits of our thinking. Currently, she serves as a leader of Pasadena Area Liberal Arts Center (PALAC), where she inspires individuals to think outside the box.

Esma is a wife and a mother, as well as a grandmother. In her younger days, she worked in the IT world as a Programmer/Analyst. After years of research, Esma promotes logic to dispel prejudices.

She has previously held an IRS-issued license as an Enrolled Agent.

She currently holds a CA-DRE license as a Real Estate Broker.

She has credentials in Mediation and volunteers in Conflict Resolution.

She has attained a diploma in Arabic -Intensive Arabic Program- from IOU (International Online University). Her goal is to read and understand the Quran in its originality.
